eJustice

The very objective of the eJustice project is to create a citizen centric approach for providing access to justice through Information Communication Technology. The project includes a portal and Kiosks. The eJustice Application will operate on both Online and Offline. The citizen accesses the legal information through portal and as well as Kiosk. The eJustice portal is designed on data centric approach. It provides basic information of legal provisions and awareness on governmental functionaries and also creates awareness among the citizens residing in the rural and semi-urban areas about the legal provisions. The portal provides links to agencies like the Legal Services Authority, which facilitate access to Justice delivery system to the citizen. The synchronization between Kiosk and Portal will achieve using Web Services (XML and SOAP). The very salient feature of the portal will be multilingual. The portal provides both English and Telugu versions of information for both storage and retrieval form database. This includes search facility in both English and Telugu languages. The entire project is developed using on Open Source Technologies.
