Commercial Taxes form one of the major revenues for the government of Andhra Pradesh. Taxes are collected as per the provisions of Acts such as A.P.G.S.T., C.S.T., A.P.E.T., A.P.L.T., A.P.P.T., A.P.H.R.B.T., etc.

www.apcommercialtaxes.gov.in is a vertical portal for Commercial Taxes Department. It includes features like electronic returns filing and electronic payment through payment gateways, an interface for the department to address requests from the general public and the registered dealers for their grievances, complaints, suggestions etc., electronic request for the waybills, and Dealer master details of the entire state. It also acts as the channel of communication between the officers and the commissioner - CT.

The software is deployed in n-tier environment; each tier being physically located in different places.

At the village level kiosks are provided for the citizen services and hand held computers are given to the village assistants for information capture and updation to the respective departments.
