eSeva is a government organization built on public-private partnership model. Citizens are provided with a clean, transparent, efficient and effective administrative system through the state-of-the-art electronic technology.

eSeva provides a direct interface between the citizens and the government which saves considerable time, energy and money to every one and gives the citizens the advantage of hassle free dealings with the administration.

All administration departments come under one roof, offering a wide range of citizen-friendly services.

All service centers are facilitated with an electronic queuing system.

It is a one-stop-shop for over twenty five G2C and B2C services.

Objectives

To improve the quality of ' Government to Citizen ' (G2C) service delivery in the state and to provide an effective and transparent government to citizens of the state using the IT as the tool.

All services can be availed at any center
All services can be availed at any counter within the center, i.e. a consumer need not visit one counter for one service and another for another service.
There are no jurisdictional limits.
Services can be availed on holidays as well.
Bill payments can be made over the internet.
Development of Integrated Citizen Service Center (ICSC) to offer services of multiple Government departments under one roof.
Payment of utility bills like water, electricity, telephone, property tax etc

All services can be availed at any center
Citizens are not charged for any utility payments
At all eSeva counters payment can be made through cash, cheque, demand draft & credit card
eSeva data center communicates with the servers of the departments concerned. Therefore, payment particulars get updated on the departmental servers in real time
About 20000 citizens transact at the eSeva centers everyday
Citizens can use the facilities through the net by online payments
eSeva receipt is treated as a conclusive proof of payment
Business to Consumer (B2C) services at all centers. They include financial services like ATM’s, mutual funds etc. Other services include air ticketing, cellular phone bill payments
Technical Model

The highlight of this project is that all the services are delivered online to consumer /citizens by connecting to the respective government departments and providing online information at the point of service delivery. The software is deployed in n-tier environment; each tier being physically located in different places.

Tier 1’ is the point of service delivery i.e., ICSC
'Tier 2’ is the central hub for routing all transactions to the respective departments and also storing local transactions
‘Tier n’ is the database related to consumer information available at the respective government departments.
