JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager is responsible for the leadership of projects that are cross functional and have a high degree of complexity.
The Project Manager VP is directly responsible for delivery of assigned projects within acceptable timeframes and quality standards.
The Project Manager is fully knowledgeable of the RISK Solutions Product Development Process in addition to general best practices of project management.
The Project Manager may be responsible for multiple projects running concurrently.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Manage all phases of the project per the Product Development Process.
Deliver assigned projects on schedule aligned with the critical needs of the business vertical.
Be proficient in all aspects, identifying, analysing, tracking and monitoring, of the project Management Body of Knowledge: Scope, Time, Risk, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Procurement and Integration.
Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule and provide periodic status reports to management regarding the project.
Manage all relationships necessary for a successful project team.
Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project and/or program schedule.
Ability to travel and manage project development and delivery at various locations in India.
Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
Ability to negotiate and communicate with sales, marketing, customer service, billing, royalties and testing organizations and personnel.
Communicate project risks, opportunities, and outcomes to customers
Manage relationships and expectations with customers
Promote project benefits and outcomes in concert with further business development efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of project management experience.
PMI certification preferred.
Experience in delivering insurance-industry, information technology or analytics projects well -regarded.
